i truly hate being the last to know, but i just found facebook chat via my bff, miss jewell. i was doing the usual 10am facebook, myspace, blog(s), bank account, oh and e-mail check..and then there it was. a little pop-up with no ding and a quick,
"hey girl! what's the dill pickle for this weekend?"
i was immediately taken back to the playroom circa 1998ish..portable phone in one ear (my own line, natch. because having my own phone line at 13 years old really made me that much cooler.), and about 15 IM conversations going on at one time on one screen...it's a wonder the computer didn't blow up. it's a wonder my brain didn't blow up with such an overload. so fast forward 10 years and there we have it, kiddos...facebook chat. could my life get any better? never. and it's not like i needed another useless tool to keep me from doing work at work...but alas lovers, i can now keep up with all the friends i've made in my 24 fabulous years of living AND chat with them all at the drop of a hat. that's a little bit scary now that i think about it...oh well, i'm still single so it can't hurt that much...bring it on....a/s/l?
p.s. at 2:35 pm EST i had 7 conversations going on at the same time...looks like i've still got it.
