Last week, I sent this to JD via USPS along with a mix CD, The History of Love by Nicole Klauss, and a Marble Slab gift card. One small package (entitled: Boys Are Stupid.), one helluva lot of hope. I'm not sure if it was the excitement from getting something "real" in the mail or the notion that someone, somewhere is thinking about you, but either way, it totally made her day. That's what it's all about. (And not just the Hokey Pokey.)

(And just for the record, the people at the post office think it's creepy I have so much outgoing mail. I am, for sure, getting profiled. If I was a post office employee, I would find it extremely hard to not tear open every single box that came through. Especially from someone like me.)
