Me: just got an e-mail from [name of
store] in [hometown] and it says if we spend $300 we get 30% off so forth, and
so on...Boss: so if we spend $1000 we get
100% off?Me: yes. duh. (hilarity
ensues)
I called...it ended at $500. really? on the new fall merchandise dripping off the racks? the sad part is the poor girl who answered the phone was in shock and had to take a sec to get her thoughts together! Please don't tell me i was the first to call!
i love the fashion industry..i love retail..i love the nastiness..and more importantly, i love being the best at it!
i'm off to an after work cocktail party in honor of G Mag, quite possibly the only decent publication [hometown] has going for them, and i couldn't be happier..really! however, i'm not sure what i'll get more laughs out of- the less than trendy outfits from people like the above or the cash cats begging to buy us a drink! he he he...
p.s. i'm not really this vain. ever.
