wtf wednesday.

there are plenty of times where i spend the better half of my day wondering why i moved back here. it's not that i dislike SC-in fact, Greenville is an amazing city and I feel honored to call this home. my entire family lives here and i can get to every single one of them within an hour. i'm surrounded by friends i've known for ages, some of them "since before we were born" (aka our parents grew up together, too.) but i'm BORED out of my mind. i find this place uninspiring...a vanilla in a confetti cupcake kind of world...a coors light when you could have a stella...a mcrib sandwich from mickey d's in place of a peppercorn encrusted filet from smith and wollensky's. (ok, so maybe it's not that bad) but i refuse to settle when i want it ALL! in honor of this reflection..

i would rather be here...so obvi.

and sipping on this.

this isn't too much to ask. can't wait to take a bite out of the big apple next week!! 4 days till i'm on the plane, ipod blaring a brand spankin' new playlist purely designed for walking down Bleeker till my hearts content, a big, enormous smile across my face. now that's happiness, kids.
